The existence of this neighbourhood is all thanks to the 2010 Winter Olympics. It was an amazing winter for Canadians. There are over a thousand units ranging over a million square feet. It has accommodated over 2,800 athletes, coaches and officials during the winter games.
Across the waters of Olympic Village is home of the popular Science World at Telus World of Science. It features many permanent interactive exhibits and displays.
This quaint neighbourhood has plenty of outdoor activities such as biking, running, kayaking, dragon boating and also has a community centre. Two of the most popular places to dine at are Craft Beer Market and Tap and Barrel.
